My approach to therapy looks at both inner forces and outer forces that shape our lives, including forces that are hidden or unconscious. This approach is often called "psychodynamic," and it was pioneered by Sigmund Freud and C.G. Jung.

Following this approach, I have a particular interest in dreams and their ability to reveal hidden sources of conflict, strength, meaning, and purpose.

I also use other therapeutic approaches called "humanistic," "existential," and "cognitive behavioural." Therapists who use multiple approaches are often called "integrative."

But beyond these approaches, every person is unique and the issues they face are unique. Together we can find a treatment path that works for you.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
